Description

This role involves working with metals, plastics, wood and composite materials to create parts for machinery, such as engine components, and parts for domestic appliances or medical equipment. Engineering craft machinists use lathes, cutters and grinders, and are responsible for selecting which tools to use for each job, working out the cutting speeds, and checking the quality of finished items.
